Terms of Service

HolistiMatch is a platform that connects people looking for holistic and energy healing support with independent practitioners offering services such as Reiki, sound healing, kinesiology, crystal therapy, EFT, hypnotherapy, breathwork, shamanic healing, and similar modalities.

HolistiMatch does not provide, supervise, or guarantee any treatment, therapy, or advice itself. We are not a party to, and do not control, any session that takes place between a Client and a Practitioner. Every Practitioner listed on HolistiMatch is an independent professional, not an employee, agent, or representative of HolistiMatch.

You must be 18 or over to use HolistiMatch. By using the Platform, you confirm that the information you give us, including in a waitlist entry, a practitioner application, or a practitioner profile, is accurate, and that you will keep it up to date.

HolistiMatch helps you find a Practitioner we believe may be a good fit for what you are looking for. Whether to go ahead with a Practitioner, and how to use any session with them, is entirely your decision.

Nothing on HolistiMatch, including anything written in a Practitioner’s profile or said during a match or session, is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a substitute for care from a qualified medical professional. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please contact emergency services (999) or your GP, not HolistiMatch.

By applying to join HolistiMatch, and, if approved, building a profile, you confirm that:

• You practise independently, and nothing about your listing on HolistiMatch makes you an employee, worker, or agent of HolistiMatch. You are responsible for your own tax, National Insurance, and business affairs.
• You hold, and will keep current for as long as you are listed on HolistiMatch, professional indemnity insurance and public liability insurance that adequately covers the services you offer. You must tell us promptly if your insurance lapses, is cancelled, or no longer covers your practice, and we may suspend or remove your listing until this is resolved.
• The credentials, qualifications, and experience you describe in your application and profile are genuine and accurate.
• You are solely responsible for the content of your sessions, your conduct towards Clients, and compliance with any professional body, code of conduct, or regulation that applies to your modality.
• You will not make claims, in your profile or elsewhere on HolistiMatch, that your services can diagnose, treat, or cure a specific medical condition. You may describe your approach and the kind of support you offer in your own words, in line with our content guidelines.

We review every application and every profile personally before anything goes live, and may decline an application, request changes to a profile, or remove a listing at our discretion, including where insurance is not current, information appears inaccurate, or conduct raises a safeguarding or reputational concern.

We ask Practitioners to confirm their qualifications and insurance as part of joining HolistiMatch, and we review this information personally before approving a listing. However, we do not independently verify every credential or insurance policy with the issuing body or insurer. Being listed on HolistiMatch is not a guarantee, warranty, or endorsement by us of a Practitioner’s qualifications, competence, or the outcome of any session. Clients are encouraged to ask a Practitioner directly about their training, experience, and insurance before booking.

HolistiMatch has not yet launched paid bookings or subscriptions. This section will be updated, and a separate agreement put in place with Practitioners, before any payments go live on the Platform. In outline, the intended model is a monthly or annual subscription paid by Practitioners to be listed, plus a commission on a Client’s first session with a given Practitioner, with no commission on repeat sessions. Full terms will be confirmed here before this is switched on.

The HolistiMatch name, logo, and the design and content of the Platform belong to HolistiMatch Ltd, except for content you provide yourself, such as a Practitioner’s profile text, photo, or video. By submitting content to HolistiMatch, you grant us a licence to display it on the Platform for as long as your listing is active.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, HolistiMatch is not liable for the acts, omissions, advice, or conduct of any Practitioner, or for any outcome of a session arranged through the Platform, since Practitioners act independently and are not under our direction or control. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform.

We may suspend or remove a Practitioner’s listing, or restrict a Client’s use of the Platform, at any time, including for breach of these Terms, lapsed insurance, inaccurate information, or conduct that raises a safeguarding or reputational concern. You may stop using HolistiMatch, or ask us to delete your profile or account, at any time by contacting hello@holistimatch.com.

We may update these Terms as HolistiMatch grows, for example when payments launch, and we will let you know if the changes are significant.

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
